GARNI — 8oz - 12oz Candle

Garni was inspired by the only surviving pagan temple in Armenia — a Greco-Roman anomaly among volcanic cliffs. 

The geometry of a pagan temple.

The engraving for Garni captures the rhythmic structure of the ancient Greco-Roman colonnade — vertical lines, precise symmetry, and the strong silhouette of basalt stone.
Instead of drawing the temple literally, the engraving abstracts its essence:

• repetitive vertical columns

• stepped podium lines

• the triangular echo of the pediment

• the rhythm of light passing between pillars

The result is a sacred, minimal diagram of sunlight and stone — a structural memory of the only surviving pagan temple in Armenia.

To translate the temple into scent, we constructed it in layers:

• Foundation — sun-warmed sandalwood, echoing dark basalt stone

• Heart — suede and hickory, the scent of ritual garments and torch smoke

• Accent — saffron & oud, the golden offering to the sun god

Garni is temple air: dry, mineral, luminous — an olfactory blueprint of ancient light.

Candle Care

Burn for 2–3 hours on first use.
Trim wick to ¼ inch.
Do not burn more than 3 hours at a time.
Stop use when ¼ inch of wax remains.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
